Aston Villa boss Unai Emery has praised summer signing Pau Torres this weekend.
The Spaniard put in an assured display in a 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
As the Midlands club picked up a rare away success against the Blues, Emery singled out Torres for praise.
He stated post-game: "We needed from him the skill to build up with the goalkeeper and trying to combine with the midfielders.
“Of course, we are practicing a lot, and sometimes it doesn't work well. We have to be consistent and focusing even when we are not doing well trying to be strong in the structure we want to create. We want to feel strong doing it."
He added on the fitness of Alex Moreno: "His injury was very hard. He's been better and better, but he is not feeling 100 per cent comfortable to play.
“We decided to stop some days, maybe one week or two weeks. Hopefully he is being close again to being in the squad."
