Aston Villa assistant coach John Terry has opened the door to returning to Chelsea.

Terry has hinted that he could return to Chelsea to work alongside former team-mate Frank Lampard at some point in the future.

In an interview with Frank Khalid, the former Blues skipper waxed lyrical about the work his old pal is doing in west London.

Khalid then interjected and quipped: “We need you in helping out that defence a little bit!"

“One day," Terry laughed.
