Aston Villa have struck terms with Blackburn Rovers for striker Rudy Gestede.
The Benin international forward was Rovers' top scorer last season in the Championship.
It seems Villa have won the race with a fee, believed to be in the region of £7million, now agreed.
Villa are in need of striking reinforcements after Christian Benteke moved to Liverpool earlier this month.
