Uzbekistan outfit Bunyodkor lost its second match on the trot to Iran's Zob Ahan in Group B, this time losing 1-0 at home, whilst in the same group Al Ittihad easily accounted for Al Wahda 4-0.
Indonesia's Persipura Jayapura again conceded a number of goals, going down 3-1 to Japanese club Kashima Antlers in Group F as Sanfrecce Hiroshima recorded their first win over the previously undefeated Adelaide United in Group H which also saw reigning Asian champions Pohang Steelers score ma handy 2-1 away win over China's Shandong Luneng.
