Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta said it was a great feeling to be back on the pitch for the Merseyside club.
The Spanish midfielder returned for the Toffees after five matches on the sidelines with a hamstring tear, getting through just over an hour of the 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic on the weekend.
He admitted it was nice to be playing again and helping the club achieve a positive result despite having his penalty saved in the first half.
"I felt okay during the game, I knew that I wouldn't be able to play the whole game because I've been out for seven weeks with a serious injury," Arteta told evertontv.
"I'm happy that I didn't feel anything and fitness wise I want to get back to my best in the final three games of the season.
"There's a bit of disappointment (with the draw), it was good to get the equalising goal at the end and get a point.
"But I think we played some good stuff, conceded a sloppy goal and then missed a penalty, we scored to get the point and at least we haven't lost two in a row."
