Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Andrey Arshavin will remain with the club.
The Russian international has been heavily linked with a return to his homeland as his performances for the Gunners continue to falter but Wenger was quite straightforward when replying to a reporter who asked if Arshavin would be leaving.
"For me, no," he said.
Arshavin has been well below his best for some time now and has been used 18 times by Wenger in the league this season although just eight of those have been starts.
