Arsenal defender Kolo Toure insists there was no January bid for himself and brother Yaya, the Barcelona midfielder, from Manchester City.

Toure told setanta.com: "No, it was just rumours.

"The most important thing for me is to give the best to the club of my heart, because Arsenal remain the club of my heart.

"Wearing the Arsenal shirt gives me huge pride and I hope I will stay. I am under contract until 2011 and [regarding a new deal] we will see at the end of the season."
