Arsenal's injury woes continue: Ozil out for THREE MONTHS

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been ruled out for 10 to 12 weeks with a knee injury. The 25-year-old, who is on international duty with Germany, played 90 minutes in Arsenal's 2-0 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday.

But he arrived at the German camp with a problem in his left knee and an MRI scan in Munich on Wednesday showed damage to the knee joint.

The governing body said on its official website: "The Arsenal player had come with complaints in the left knee when he met up with the German team in Frankfurt and on Wednesday morning, he travelled to Munich to undergo an MRI examination."

But the DFB have since confirmed that Ozil has suffered a 'partial lateral collateral ligament tear in left knee', and wished the midfielder a speedy recovery from there their official Twitter account.
