"Looking at the players England have, I don't understand how they did not qualify.
"They have some big, big players, so why do they continue to play the long ball game with the players they have. It does not make sense."
Gallas, meanwhile, has sympathy for Scotland who beat the French twice but failed to qualify after a last-minute defeat to Italy in their final match.
"It feels a bit strange that France are through while Scotland are not, and they beat us twice.
"They were so close, so it must be difficult to accept."
