Arsenal midfielder Josh Rees hopes to follow his U18 teammates into the first team.
While he is happy to bide his time before making his breakthrough, Rees says seeing the likes of Nico Yennaris, Ignasi Miquel and Oguzhan Ozyakup in the first team is an inspiration to him.
"I have been playing with the likes of Nico since I was eight or nine so I am so happy when people like him, Ozzy, Chuks and Iggy get their chance in the first team, like they have this season," Rees told Arsenal.com.
"I want to get more reserve-team starts this season and add to the results that the team are getting, and also get a good run with the Under-18s and aim for the Academy League title.
"I want to make as many appearances as I can leading into next season. Hopefully next year I will have a good pre-season and see if I can force my way into the boss's first-team plans."
