Arsenal yet to open contract talks with England international trio

Arsenal are yet to open new contract talks with three England internationals.

Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still to hear from the Gunners about their futures.

The London Evening Standard says all three players entering the final 18 months of their current deals.

The Gunners have prioritised re-signing existing players rather than concentrating on new acquisitions during the January transfer window and have so far announced extensions for Francis Coquelin, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny.

Talks are ongoing with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, while Per Mertesacker is closing in on a one-year agreement even though he has not played for the first team since April.

But the club have not contacted representatives of the English trio, casting further doubt over their futures.
