Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could still earn a senior England call.

The Sun says the midfielder, 18, was in Fabio Capello's provisional squad as well as the Under-21s.

Despite suffering back spasms over the weekend, he remains with Stuart Pearce's Young Lions for their Euro qualifier against Iceland at Colchester on Thursday.

And Oxlade-Chamberlain could still earn a promotion to the seniors if Capello is hit by injury withdrawals ahead of the senior friendlies with Spain and Sweden.
