Arsenal will fight for Champions League finish - Wenger

Arsenal fell five points out of the top four today but manager Arsene Wenger insisted the fight is still on for a top-four finish.

The Gunners were beaten 2-1 by North London rivals Tottenham at White Hart Lane to drop five points in arrears of Chelsea and even points behind third-placed Spurs but Wenger says there is still some scope to push for Champions League qualification.

"It is very frustrating but we have to put the energy in like we did today and keep going and you never know," he told Sky Sports.

"It would be absolutely terrible not to fight like mad because there is a lot of positives in the game.

"What happened today we have seen repeated so many times in big games that of course it's difficult."
