Arsenal have swooped for exciting Dutch prospect Oguzhan Ozyakup.

An agreement is thought to have been reached between the Gunners and Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar for the youngsters services, who starred for the Holland U17 team at the recent U17 European Championships, says the East London Guardian.

Ozyakup is only 15, and so has been signed on a free transfer by Arsenal, due to Dutch rules that dictate that a young player cannot sign as a professional until he is 17 years-old.

The creative centre midfielder is thought to have agreed a two-year scholarship deal, although will not link up with Arsenal until September when he turns 16. It is then thought he will feature for the clubs' U18 squad next season.
