Arsenal are watching Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is planning beyond veteran No1 Petr Cech and has Oblak in his sights.

The 23 year-old is emerging among Europe's best young goalkeeping talents and is firmly established as Atletico's No1.

Spanish media sources say Arsenal are following Oblak's progress this season with plans of a move for him in 2017.

Oblak arrived at Atletico three years ago from Benfica.
