Arsenal are now in second position the U23 table after a terrific win against Manchester City.
The two sides met on Sunday, with Jordi Osei-Tutu proving to be the difference.
It was a tough game, with both sides having chances and going close to scoring. However, the second half strike from Osei-Tutu meant it was Arsenal that picked up all three points in the clash.
Now in second place, Arsenal will have to work hard to catch Liverpool, who have an eight-point lead. And the second place is far from guaranteed, with Leicester City only a point behind with a game in hand.
Arsenal U23s will face Derby County in the next game, with the fixture taking place at Meadow Park. The Gunners were 3-2 winners the last time the two teams met.
