Arsenal U18 coach Jack Wilshere is in talks with Colorado Rapids.

The Athletic says Wilshere had been granted permission by the Gunners to speak with the Rapids about the senior coaching position.

Arsenal and the Rapids are owned by Stan Kroenke.

Wilshere is said to have impressed Rapids directors in his interview.

The former England and Arsenal midfielder took charge of Arsenal U18s last season and has impressed in his first coaching post.
