Arsenal are ready to make their move to sign Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.

The young defensive midfielder is a huge target for both the Gunners and Liverpool this summer.

Per The Times, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is not done strengthening his squad.

The Spaniard has already secured Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Jurrien Timber.

However, he now wants Lavia, with Liverpool Echo stating that the Anfield club will also make a move.

Both clubs will have to get involved in a bidding war if they are to have any chance of securing the young former Manchester City star.
