Arsenal have reportedly told Palermo to pay £7million if they want striker Joel Campbell.

The Costa Rica international has been told he can leave the Emirates this summer with Italian club Palermo showing plenty of interest.

The Sicilian outfit were initially keen on taking 23-year-old Campbell on loan but are looking for a permanent deal after learning the Gunners are prepared to offload.

Palermo have made a starting bid of £3.5million but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners have recommended that the Serie A club to double their bid to £7m in order to land the former Lorient, Real Betis, Olympiakos and Villarreal loanee.
