Arsenal target Mario Goetze has not asked to leave Borussia Dortmund.
That is according to the club's chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke.
The Germany international is being linked with a move to the London club, as he only has a year left on his contract.
And Watzke believes that the World Cup winner has no reason to ask for a move.
"I know no reason why he should go," Watzke said to reporters about the attacking midfielder.
He also added that Goetze had "not requested a transfer."
Goetze managed 26 appearances for Dortmund in the Bundesliga last season, managing 7 goals and 7 assists in those games.
