Arsenal striker Simpson in QPR showdown talks

Arsenal striker Jay Simpson has held talks with QPR boss Mick Harford after he was dropped on the weekend.

The Mirror says Simpson, 21, is on a season-long loan at Loftus Road from The Emirates.

And the striker, who has often played up front on his own, is the club’s top scorer with 10 goals this term.

But he is unhappy at being dropped for Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at lowly Peterborough, where QPR finished with nine men.
