Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is top of the agenda for Barcelona, it has been revealed.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca's board are actively discussing this week making a surprise move for the Gunners captain in the COMING DAYS.

Club chiefs haven't ruled out buying in January, with a new striker the favoured option following Luis Suarez's absence due to knee surgery.

Should they act, Barca's priority will be Aubameyang, who could be available from the cash-strapped Gunners with less than 18 months to run on his existing deal.

Suarez isn't expected to be back on the pitch until late April.
