Arsenal striker Aubameyang: I learned a lot at AC Milan

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says he'll always value his experience with AC Milan.

Before Thursday night's victory over his old club, Aubameyang spoke of his time with Milan.

“When I was at Milan, I was very young, with very little experience," Aubameyang recalled, speaking to Arsenal's official website.

“But it was there that I learned how to become a professional. I was lucky because there were lots of top players there at the time, like [Paolo] Maldini, [Alessandro] Nesta, Kaka, [Clarence] Seedorf, Ronaldo.

“I was quite shy as a person, but I was keen to watch what these top players did and I learned a lot that way.

“My family? They'll be supporting Arsenal of course, even though the whole family grew up in Milan. We were lucky enough to come through at that club, but life has gone in this way, and now we're supporting Arsenal.

“At home they'll be cheering on Arsenal. But of course we still have a lot of respect for them. They helped us a great deal - the whole family. We were very fortunate to spend time there."
