Arsenal smashed Lille in their bidding war for AS Monaco striker Park Chung-song this week.

L'Equipe says Lille were willing to pay relegated ASM €3 million for the South Korea captain, plus another €2 million if he avoided military service, for his services.

However, Arsenal came over the top to land Park for a stunning €12 million.

The Londoners have not disclosed how long Park's contract is for.
