Arsenal skipper Van Persie fancies free role after 4-goal Dutch haul

Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie admits he had fun scoring four goals for Holland in victory over San Marino.

Against San Marino, Van Persie was employed by coach Bert van Marwijk behind Klaas Jan Huntelaar, a role he enjoyed.

"This game I had a free role," he said. "That was fun. At Arsenal I play as the striker, that's what I do every day."

As for what will happen in Tuesday's game in Finland, Van Persie added: "It's the coach's decision. We must judge it match by match."
