Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov has denied reports linking him with a takeover of AC Milan.

It's been reported Usmanov is part of a consortium seeking to buyout Milan owner Li Yonghong.

However, his spokesperson contacted us to deny the story.

“Mr. Usmanov receives many proposals to purchase football clubs, some of which are considered seriously and others which are not.

“Mr. Usmanov has not received any proposals to acquire AC Milan."
