Arsenal midfielder Alexandre Song has praised his uncle, former Liverpool and West Ham defender Rigobert, for giving him advice.

The 21-year old said he speaks to his uncle before every game so he can learn more and improve.

"My uncle is always trying to give me advice," Alexdre Song told World Soccer magazine.

"I speak to him before games and when I need to take a decision.

"I am very lucky to have him. Now I just need to follow his example.

"I think I have great future and it's my duty to work hard.

"Rigo was my idol when I was young so I just want to do the same as him."
