Arsenal's head of international recruitment, Francis Cagigao, is being chased by another leading Premier League team, plus top clubs in Spain, Germany and South America, according to Sky Sports.

Arsene Wenger's close aide, who first brought Cesc Fabregas to the club and recommended the signings of Santi Cazorla, Hector Bellerin and Alexis Sanchez, has a contract until the summer of 2020.

However, a top-six Spanish club is targeting Cagigao for a director of football role - although they are concerned about competition for his signature from other leagues, including one of Arsenal's Premier League rivals.
