After suffering a badly broken leg in a sickening tackle in February, Arsenal striker Eduardo made a return to action with the Gunners reserves on Tuesday night.
The Brazilian-born Croatian played the first 45 minutes in the Arsenal reserves 2-0 win over Portsmouth but came off at half-time with a slight hamstring strain.
If Eduardo pulls up well and continues to progress with his fitness, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will have him back as an attacking option.
