Arsenal's Bartley contributed to Rangers' Wylde getting sent off - Dundee Utd's Flood

Dundee United's Willo Flood believes Kyle Bartley's actions contributed to his Rangers teammate Gregg Wylde receiving a red card on Saturday.

The 20-year old winger was sent off in the final minutes of the 3-1 win over the Arabs at Ibrox for a petulant kick on Flood after a small melee had broken out but the United man feels it would never have happened if Arsenal loanee Bartley did not come flying in.

"Bartley came over and started the ruck. If he'd have kept his nose out of it then Wylde wouldn't have got sent off," he said.

"It was handbags really. I won the tackle then Wylde kicked out.

"God knows what the ref booked me for as he was giving a throw."

But Bartley didn't share Flood's view, saying: "I was a little bit angry with Flood's tackle. I'll always protect one of our players. I guess that's not Willo's point of view."
