Arsenal are readying an offer for Leicester City ace James Maddison.
The Daily Star says Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is focusing his efforts on landing Leicester midfielder Maddison this summer.
The 24-year-old found himself out of favour under boss Brendan Rodgers towards the end of last season but the Foxes will not be keen to let Maddison leave as he remains a key player at the club.
Maddison would have the opportunity to earn a bigger salary at Arsenal, though would have to sacrifice European competition for next season.
It is claimed the Gunners are prepared to offer the England international a £200,000-per-week offer to try and lure him to the Emirates, but would have to break the bank to persuade Leicester to sell.
