Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to pounce on Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnian goalscoring ace has been linked with many clubs in the past few weeks and now Arsenal are keen to bring him in next month.

Wenger is prepared to pay up to £15million for the 23-year old hitman which would eclipse the £12million they paid for Andrey Arshavin last January.

Dzeko has again been in great touch in the German Bundesliga, netting 13 times so far in Wolfsburg's title defence after scoring on 36 occasions last term.
