Arsenal are puzzled by the continued talk of Barcelona pressing for Cesc Fabregas. Sport says Arsenal have not received any formal approach from Barca for Cesc since the club's change of board. Indeed, the last offer received came from Joan Laporta before he left office.
Arsenal directors have been left unimpressed by the attitude of Barca's new board, which have remained in the background as their players have publicly touted for Cesc - and the player, himself, also dropped hints in the Spanish press about returning to the Nou Camp.
It's all a mystery to the Gunners, who have not heard officially from Barca since before the World Cup.
