Arsenal promote young guns with new deals; ex-Chelsea whiz Amani Richards headlines

Arsenal have handed 13 players scholarship deals as they make the step up from the U15s.

Among the intake are several youngsters snapped up from rival clubs earlier this year, reports Jeorge Bird's Arsenal youth website.

Former Manchester City midfielder Henry Timi Davies, winger Kaleel Green - formerly of Southampton, and Ismail Oulad M'Hand from Feyenoord, have all been handed pro terms. Oulad M'Hand is the younger brother of Arsenal U23 prospect Salah-Eddine.

The stand-out is Amani Richards, who arrived from Chelsea last season. The attacker became the first schoolboy to play for Arsenal U23s since 2015 and also featured in the FA Youth Cup as well as making an impact for the U18s.

Richards is an England youth international.
