Arsenal are prioritising a deal for Wolves winger Pedro Neto.
The Athletic says the Gunners are keen on bringing the 22-year-old to the Emirates but must offload club-record signing Nicolas Pepe, who is in talks with Nice, in order to facilitate the move.
Arsenal have been in month-long discussions with agent Jorge Mendes over the Portugal international.
Mendes is Neto's agent and is also held in high-regard by the Wolves hierarchy, although talks with the two clubs are said to have been separate.
Wolves are said to have no intention of selling the 22-year-old this summer, while the winger also signed a contract extension in March, tying him down until 2027.
It's thought Wolves want £50million for the Portugal winger - which may price the Gunners out of a move.
