Arsenal plot to sell several underperforming players this summer.

The Mirror says the Gunners are "ready" to sell Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi with two Championship stars set to replace the pair,.

The duo have been under par this season and have not developed into the world-beating players Arsene Wenger clearly hoped.

The Gunners want to replace them with Norwich's James Maddison and Fulham's Ryan Fredericks.

The 21-year-old has impressed for the Canaries this season, while Fredericks, 25, has helped Fulham's superb march up the Championship table.

Maddison has a £30million price tag, with the midfielder bagging 14 goals from midfield.
