Samir Nasri has backed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's transfer policy.
The arrival of Marouane Chamakh is set to be officially confirmed as a free transfer, worth a reported £50,000 a week, once the Morocco striker's contract with Bordeaux expires.
Nasri believes Wenger's policy of adding quality to the promise of youth can deliver.
"I am not kidding myself regarding recruitment - Arsenal are not a Chelsea, who buy players to such an extent," he said.
"Arsenal concentrate more on taking young players to develop into a team."
