Arsenal players desperate to deliver trophy to fans - Walcott

Arsenal's players are desperate to deliver a major trophy to their fans, says winger Theo Walcott.

The England ace told The Sun: "We feel we're as good as any team in the world. You can go through each individual in the Arsenal side and we have so many potential match winners.

"We know how dominant we can be and we play unbelievable football at times.

"The boss gets players from all over the world who most people have never heard of. But when they go into our team they all do so well. We've proved our character with that penalty shootout win away to Roma and now we've got two huge matches coming up against Manchester United.

"We need to bring a trophy back for our brilliant fans as well as for ourselves and we have a great chance to do that this year. Champions League football is definitely suited to the way we play. We have learned a huge lesson from the way we went out of last season's competition at Liverpool.

"We thought we'd won it right at the death and we were still buzzing from our goal instead of concentrating on our job when they scored again. We won't make that mistake again."
