Arsenal are planning to raid Montpellier to strengthen their defence.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has Montpellier defensive pair Emir Spahic and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa under consideration.
Yanga-Mbiwa is a young fullback, while experienced centre-half Spahic claimed in January to be wanted by the Gunners.
Montpellier management are resigned to losing Spahic in the summer.
