Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny insists victory at Burnley was more important than any result at Tottenham.
Alexis Sanchez struck a stoppage-time winner from the penalty spot – the game's only goal – after James Tarkowski was adjudged to have bundled over Aaron Ramsey with little over a minute left to play.
“I think it was very important, more than the Tottenham game," Koscielny said. “It was crucial to win here.
“You are always happy because you score a late goal and have three points.
“It was a difficult game you know, they play very direct, cross very well and upfront they have players who can score headers.
“We knew it was a difficult game so that is why we are very happy. Burnley played well in the first half and put pressure on us."
Meanwhile, Jeff Reine-Adelaide is back in training at Arsenal.
The French midfielder took part in full-scale training for the final session on Saturday before yesterday's 1-0 win at Burnley.
Reine-Adelaide hasn't played for the first-team this season and hasn't featured at any level since having to be substituted in the U23s' game against Sunderland last month.
Reine-Adelaide will hope to be in contention for Arsenal's Europa League and Carabao Cup games in December.
