Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly moving closer to securing the services of Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons.
The Gunners boss is seeking a quality defensive midfielder with the 24-year old, six-times capped France international fitting the bill.
The Daily Mail suggests Gonalons would cost Arsenal £10million but it is a price they are willing to pay to strengthen the defensive part of their midfield.
