Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been released from the Germany squad.

The Gunners midfielder, 29, played all 90 minutes of Die Mannschaft's 1-1 draw against Spain last night.

But the national side's official Twitter account said he, along with Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller, will not be in Berlin for the friendly against Brazil.

It is not believed that Ozil is injured.

Arsenal sit sixth in the Premier League and take on Stoke at home on April 1.
