At least five top European clubs are showing interest in Javier Mascherano, according to reports.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo suggests that Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are three Premier League outfits who are contemplating a shock summer move for the Argentine.
Mascherano, 31, has two years to run on his current Barca deal but it is believed he could depart Camp Nou prematurely.
Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also significantly interested in the former West Ham United and Liverpool defensive midfielder while clubs in China are willing to throw the cheque book at him.
Sport is of the belief that Mascherano has agreed a deal in principle with Juve but alternate outlets are hinting that his future is still very much up in the air and he could end up elsewhere, other than Turin, if he does indeed happen to leave Barcelona.
