Arsenal have made a first offer for Galatasaray fullback Sacha Boey.

Gunners chief Edu has been following the France U21 international for much of this season.

And Turkish journalist Nevzat Dindar reports a €17m bid has been made for the defender.

Gala have rejected the offer, but Arsenal are expected to return with a new proposal.

The Turkish giants are seeking closer to €22-23m to sell Boey.
