Winston Reid is set to sign a new contract with West Ham United according to reports.
There has been plenty of speculation surrounding the New Zealand international in recent months but it appears as though he is set to commit to the Hammers cause.
Sources have told ESPN FC that centre-back Reid will put pen to the 'exceptionally good offer' the east London club have put in front of him which is fantastic news for Sam Allardyce's side.
Additionally, West Ham co-chairman David Gold was 'hopeful' that Reid would soon agree to a new deal when responding to a fans' question on Twitter.
"@clarejrussell: @davidgold Is the news that Reid is close to signing a new contract true?
I am hopeful that Winston will sign for us. dg

Hammers skipper Reid, who has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool during his time of uncertainty, joined the club from Danish outfit Midtjylland in 2010 and has been an integral part of the setup at Upton Park over the past few seasons.
Reid was in action for West Ham on Wednesday night against Chelsea but was subbed off in the 8th minute after injuring his calf in the 1-0 home defeat.
