Arsenal legend Ian Wright wants to see the club sign Daniele De Rossi.

Roma decided not to renew the 35-year-old's contract and the midfielder has now has now left the Italian club after 18 years.

And Wright thinks it would be wise for the Gunners to tie up the veteran.

"Arsenal need to bring in De Rossi from Roma," Wright posted on Twitter.

"We'll get 15 games out of him, it won't cost hardly any money, and the experience he could pass on to the likes of [Joe] Willock and the other youngsters could be invaluable and money well spent."
