Arsenal legend Ian Wright admits he's upset seeing Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney playing so poorly.
Rooney was again flat for last night's 0-0 draw with Algeria.
Wright told The Sun: "I don't want to see Rooney end the game on the left-hand side of the front line. To be honest, I don't know what is up with him when you look at the last few games. Maybe we should not have played him in the friendlies and have kept him fresh.
"He has not kicked a ball yet. The great players, like Maradona and Cruyff are able to deliver when it is tough.
"I still think Rooney can be in that class yet something needs to click. I still see no reason why he cannot have a great tournament."
