Arsenal legend Wright: Bolton players will be ready for playing return

Arsenal legend Ian Wright feels Bolton Wanderers' players will be happy to play again after Fabrice Muamba's collapse at Tottenham.

Muamba has made miraculous progress and Bolton are now ready to return to the pitch.

Wright told Absolute Radio: "I think it will be a good thing for them to play, because they're all buoyed by the news that he's speaking again, he's talking and everything, and the outpouring and that, I think that it will be a good way, personally, for the team to get it done, play the game and move to the next step, because they have to.

"They're in the game and they've got to be professional, and yes, I could understand if we didn't hear anything from Fabrice in respects of how he's doing and it was still touch and go, you could see the players, me personally and not playing for Bolton, I'm thinking about him every day, 'I wonder if he's alright?'

"Can you imagine his team mates, his close mates? How do you play a football match, honestly, knowing that someone is fighting for their life? So I believe now, that they know he's alright, I think it will give them that kind of sense of 'Wow, okay, let's get on with it now', and it might even buoy them, might even buoy them."
