New York City FC coach Patrick Vieira has played down the prospect of succeeding Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
The Gunners legend, despite his ties to Manchester City, has been mentioned as replacement for Wenger at his old club.
But he told L'Equipe: "Position myself to replace Arsène Wenger? For me, it's very difficult, sincerely. It's very difficult because of the personal relationships I have with Arsène.
"I find that the way people position themselves is very out of place...
"Train Arsenal? Say one day, it might interest me. But one day. I cannot say anything more, because there is nothing to say and I do not want to hurt Arsène, whom I adore and for whom I have a lot of respect."
