Arsenal legend Sol Campbell is in talks to take over as the boss of Macclesfield Town.
The former England center back is hoping that he can take charge of the League Two side.
Macclesfield are bottom of the division, seven points away from safety.
The Mirror reports that Campbell has held talks with the club's chairman Mark Blower about the position.
It would be a tough first entry into management for the 44-year-old, given Macclesfield's recent struggles.
